Wayzata's Foursome to refocus on men's clothes

The Foursome Clothing Store, a retail mainstay in the western suburbs, will exit the women's and children's markets in the face of a sluggish retail environment in Wayzata.

The 70-year-old Wayzata clothing store has chosen to concentrate on its Men's, Big and Tall and Family Shoe departments and will no longer carry women's or children's clothes.

The change came partly due to an unexpected delay in the redevelopment for the Wayzata Bay Center where Foursome is located. Developers have been trying to rework the retail site, which accounts for nearly a third of the city's retail space, for more than two years.
